Company History

Odeja has grown from a craftsman's workshop established in 1932 in the center of Škofja Loka. In the beginning, the quilts were hand-made and filled with cotton wool. Following the purchase of new quilting machines and the engagement of new workers, the factory expanded and increased its output. In 1952, the factory employed 23 workers who produced 20,000 quilts per year. In 1973, the Odeja factory moved to the new location at Trata. At that time the company employed as many as 130 persons. In 90`s Odeja began to present its products at international fairs. Today, our products are regularly exhibited at fairs in Frankfurt and Ljubljana.
