Then we recommend pillows with a zipper. The zipper allows you to add or remove filling and in this way regulate the height and hardness of your pillow. Zippered pillows are available in ODEJA design and ODEJA home programs.
We recommend that you buy a pillow that can be washed frequently – at home in your washing machine. People suffering from allergies or asthma should pay special attention to the A&A sign, as products carrying this sign have been made especially for asthmatics and people prone to allergies. You may choose from a variety of different hardnesses, heights and shapes.
Then we recommend a pillow in one piece. These pillows have a core made of latex or visco-elastic memory foam. The pillow will always keep its shape regardless of your position while sleeping. Your back will not have to adapt to various shapes of your pillow as you change positions in your sleep.
Before buying a new pillow, think well about the kind of pillow you already have and whether you are satisfied with it.
Before leaving for the shop, check the height and hardness of your pillow and what kind of materials it is made of. Also consider whether you would like a pillow that is washable.
If you are satisfied with the pillow you already have, look for and buy one as similar as possible to your own. But if you aren't entirely satisfied, think well about the type of pillow you desire: a harder, softer, higher or lower pillow filled with latex, polyester or wool? If you prefer sleeping on natural materials, we recommend our Merinofil or Camelfil pillows. If you have allergies or asthma, a better choice would be our pillows from the MEDICO or MEDICO LUX programs.
Check to see what kind of bedlinen you have in your home; will the new pillow match the size of your bedspread? Does the pillow of your choice come with an additional bedspread of suitable size?
We recommend that you buy your pillows in a specialized shop, where an experienced salesperson will be able to assist you with helpful advice.
We recommend that you buy a new pillow every two or three years. While sleeping, we perspire, toss and turn, and press on our pillows. This stains the pillow and causes it to lose its original shape and quality. In the same way as we change our clothes and wash them, we should remember that we lie on our pillows every night for approximately 8 hours, but clean them very rarely or not at all. To ensure a healthy and hygienic sleep, our pillows must be replaced with new ones. The quality of our sleep determines how we feel during the day! So don't be sparing with your bedlinen. Allow yourself the luxury of something new in your bed, too!
